It's wonderful how involved Tulane has become in the community of New Orleans. Tulane took on a big challenge by coming back into New Orleans right after Katrina, and it has succeeded in improving the local opinion of the university and increasing the national awareness of the school. Tulane is part of the fabric of New Orleans and shares a unique bond with the city - it was amazing to be a part of the experience!
We met people from all over the United States, and even though we were different in some ways, we meshed well together and learned from each other. We're still connected with many of our friends from college and constantly make new connections.
We were the last class to graduate from Tulane before Katrina, and women from the class of 2005 were the last class to graduate from Newcomb. We are what links the old Tulane to the new. All of us are emotionally tied to the university and the city of New Orleans. Don't let your passion for the school fade - join us this fall and renew your connection to Tulane and New Orleans!
