Dear Classmate,

Believe it or not, our 40-year reunion is fast approaching! I Hope this letter finds you well and ready to reminisce about the city and the university that shaped us.

It is my pleasure to invite you to our reunion celebration. The Wave ’11 All-Alumni Reunion Party for our class will be held on Friday, Oct. 21 at 6:30 p.m., featuring food, fireworks and music. Saturday, Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. kicks off four hours of tailgating in the development tent at Homecoming Village at the Superdome, leading up to the 2 p.m. match against Memphis. Our 40th reunion is a wonderful opportunity to give back to our university and to a great American city. Please join me in making a generous contribution to the Tulane Fund today. The Tulane Fund is for the university’s immediate use. As many of you are parents or relatives of recent graduates or even current students, you know that the needs of a great university like Tulane always outnumber its financial resources. Therefore, making a financial gift from each of us is essential to Tulane’s progress and continuing success.

Your participation is crucial to Tulane’s scholastic achievement. You may make a reunion gift in memory of your favorite professor or gifts may be designated to any school or unit of your choice. Please consider giving generously to mark the 40^th anniversary of your graduation:

$1,000 per year equals $40,000,

$1 per day equals $14,610, and

$100 per year equals $4,000.

To date, 174 of our classmates have contributed $390,940 reaching 65% of our class goal of $600,000. We will present our class gift to Tulane at our reunion party onFriday.
