"I received a terrific education and met some wonderful people at Tulane." Dale Miller
Only In New Orleans...New Orleans is a great town, such a rich environment to attend school. For those of us who came from out of town, just being in New Orleans was a great experience. Not just because of Mardi Gras and Jazz Fest, or seeing the Radiators for under $10, but because it's a unique city. It's a historical city. There's a fascination with New Orleans, always has been, always will be. That's unique. |
It was a fun time, there was always something going on on campus. I remember 25-cent beers on Fridays with bands on the quad. Of course, the football games always made you shake your head! I loved walking or riding my bike through campus. I think uptown wouldn't be uptown without Tulane.
I'm proud of being a Tulane alumnus because I think it's a unique school in a unique place. Tulane has a huge economic impact on New Orleans. It's a top-notch university and has bounced back from the storm incredibly well. Tulane made the tough choices it needed to make post-Katrina and pulled itself together. Tulane is even more in the public eye now, not only for how well it's come back after the storm, but for the strong student body it continues to attract.
