Meet Your 45th Reunion Co-Chairs

Kay Sanders

"I've been able to accomplish a lot because of my growth in self - confidence as well as my academic abilities when I was at Newcomb.  I left Newcomb feeling there was nothing I couldn't do." - Dr. Kay Keller Sanders  N`65

John Church

"Tulane gave us all an opportunity.  Come see the city after the storm and the recovery; come see the campus and how it's changed and all of the new buildings.  Let's come together for Tulane and New Orleans."
- Dr. John Church  A&S`65  M`68

Only In New Orleans...

The city was a gorgeous place to go to school, from the Garden District to the beautiful neighborhoods surrounding the uptown campus.  We fell in love with the architecture of New Orleans, the life, the people, the food, and the spirit.  We formed a bond with New Orleans that never left us, an emotional tie to a city that always made us feel like we were home.

Only At Tulane...

Newcomb and Tulane were academically tough, challenging, and the standards were very high.  We grew up at Tulane, where we made the transition from being dependent on our families, to being in the adult world as independent people.  It was a special time and Tulane was a special place.  Tulane was magical, New Orleans was magical.  It was an undergraduate experience unlike any other.

Only Us...

Our class has accomplished so much over the past 45 years.  Some of us have achieved all of our goals.  Some of us are still working on it.  The ways in which we have contributed to society are enormous.  Some of us became physicians and contributed to the area of medical research and science.  Some of us are architects, teachers, mothers and fathers with grandchildren and even great - grandchildren.  We should take pride in the legacy we have made thanks to our Tulane education.
