New Orleans was a wonderful place to go to college. It was there that i was introduced to some of the world's best music, great food, and a unique culture. Whether it was Fats Domino and Frogman Henry concerts, out-of-your-mind hurricane parties, or sensational dinners in the French Quarter, New Orleans gave us all a college experience to remember.
Tulane opened my eyes and influenced my mind. Unforgettable classes like Ducky Riess' physics course, Joe Cohen's freshman English, Dr. Johannson's introduction to chemistry, Frau Groben's German class, Irving Ribbner's theatrical Shakespearian lectures, and Professor Feibelman's far out philosophy course left indelible impressions that diversified my thinking and impacted my future interests.
Both of my children also graduated from Tulane. They enjoyed their experiences there as much as I did. I have continued to support the university, and I am so proud that Tulane has taken an active role in bringing back the city in the post-Katrina era, restoring the city, once again, to its formidable status.
